Workshop VenueÂSSP2009 will take place in the City Hall and Main Building of Cardiff University. City Hall stands in the heart of Cardiff. It is a civic building in Cathays Park, Cardiff, Wales. Built of Portland stone, it became the fifth building to serve as Cardiff's centre of local government when it opened in October 1906. Its design, by architects Lanchester, Stewart and Rickards, is based on English and French Renaissance styles.   ![]() Main Building of Cardiff University is one of the white buildings forming the elegant civic centre. The venue is located in the city centre with its museums, theatres, hotels, large shopping district and Cardiff Castle. It is also a short distance from Cardiff Bay, a major regeneration area and a place to such attractions as the new Millennium Centre, the recently opened National Assembly for Wales building, numerous restaurants and bars.Â

Banquet VenueThe banqueat will be held in The Celtic Manor Resort which is recognised as one of Europe’s finest destinations for meetings, conferences and events. It is also one of the UK's finest five star resorts, a truly splendid destination set in 1400 acres of scenic parkland and beautiful natural scenery. The Celtic Manor Resort is a golf-centric hotel and leisure resort in the city of Newport, Wales. It will be the venue for the Ryder Cup Matches in the year 2010, marking the first time the Cup will be played in Wales. The Matches will be played on the Resort's new "Twenty Ten" course; the first golf course specifically designed to host the biennial event.     ![]()  During the dinner there will be entertainment by Welsh artists.
